M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy
15/11/12 Skywatcher Quattro Carbon 8, EQ6, Canon 600D, 48 exposures @60 secs, 10 darks, 10 flats, unguided. The bright spot in the lower centre is M32, a dwarf galaxy, thought to be a spiral galaxy that became eaten by M31. The bright patch in the upper middle is M110 a dwarf spheroidal galaxy.

M81 - Bode's Galaxy
11/5/13 M81, M82 and NGC 3077. Skywatcher 8" Quattro, Coma corrector and Canon 600D. M81 12 million light years away and is a spiral galaxy similar to our own. M82 has had the it's core blown out.
